From TukTuk Tours to Tech Tools

How Célia went from off-road adventures to building digital products
Célia Remédios

Meet Célia Remédios

Mechanic. Maker. Always learning something new.
Célia Remédios, 40, is based in Nazaré and wears many hats—literally. By day, she conducts buggy tours and drives an e-TukTuk to the iconic Farol de S. Miguel. By passion, she’s a lifelong explorer of mechanics, design, and innovation. A dental prosthodontist for over a decade. A motorcycle mechanic. A CNC operator. Now? She's carving her path into web development and 3D design—ready to work remotely and reshape her future.

“Thanks to Nocode Institute and my new Web Development skills I got back on track as a freelancer!”

The Challenge

After turning 40 and losing her job, Célia faced a pivotal question:

What’s next for someone with a toolbox this big—but no digital portfolio to show it?

She had the skills. But not the visibility. And although her background was far from web development, she knew it was time to adapt and upskill.

The Transformation

“My background was far from Web development... but Nocode Institute made it super easy to upskill.”

At first, Célia joined NoCode Institute to learn how to build websites. But the course offered much more.

Each lesson unlocked a new tool, a new idea—and the confidence to apply it.

From knowing zero about web development, she’s now creating websites for real clients, combining her technical past with a digital future.

Today, she's prepping a portfolio, diving into 3D design, and building the foundations to live and work as a digital nomad.

She’s even back in the game as a freelancer.

Respect.

What’s next for Célia?

Célia’s designing her next chapter with intention. She’s working toward becoming a digital nomad in design and 3D programming—while keeping doors open for other paths. Plan A is in motion, but she’s ready for Plan B, too.

Adaptable. Creative. Relentlessly curious.
