Cristina’s dream? Launching a digital platform to support dementia caregivers like herself.
The problem?
No technical skills. No time to learn how to code. No budget to outsource.
She wanted to move fast—but hit a wall. “It’ll take years to get funding,” she thought. Her idea was stuck on standby… until she found NoCode Institute.
"When I started the course, my project was on standby because it's a digital platform. And investment to start with a digital platform for a social organization is massive. And I thought, "Well, it'll take years for me to get proper financing to start my project.” And suddenly, with no code, I had a chance to at least start. First, with a pilot version to present to potential investors. It makes me feel much more empowered."
"With no-code, I had a chance to at least start."
At NoCode Institute, Cristina found more than tools—she found momentum.
Inspired by a quick learning curve and success implementing new tools, Cristina is not only thinking of using no-code for her business but also offering her newly created CRM tool for fundraising to help organizations manage volunteers and donations. She's also thinking of using her CRM tool as a side hustle to build another income stream in the future.
As she says, learning no-code made her business idea possible and opened the door for more opportunities to come.
She didn’t just learn—she built.

Building the CRM prototype
Starting from scratch with no tech background
Testing, failing, and pushing through anyway
She’s launching her digital business to support caregivers—and offering her CRM tool as a side hustle to help other nonprofits thrive. With no-code, she’s not waiting for permission—she’s building her future, one project at a time.
In the final stage of the Cohorts, students have the opportunity to work in a real project to develop not only technical skills, but also soft skills like client management, problem-solving, prioritization, and negotiation. Always with the support of our Mentors.
In the program, Cristina was matched with a social organization - Pedalar Sem Idade - that needed a CRM tool for fundraising. It was exactly what she wanted to learn to build for her other activities. Now, Cristina is using her new-learned no-code knowledge for her own business launch, a social organization she volunteers at, and a client on the No Code Foundations course.
"It’s been a great learning experience so far—lots of testing, lots of mistakes, lots of challenges—so it feels good to see that I was successful! The training was also clear, and the support from the classes really helped me not give up and to learn how to find solutions!"
