After finishing her Master’s in Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Rita landed what seemed like the perfect remote job at a global consultancy. It was stable, prestigious, and paid well — everything she was told to aim for.
But the reality hit hard:
- The pressure to perform.
- The unpaid overtime.
- The competitive, conservative culture that didn’t reflect her values.
Creativity felt stifled. Her time wasn’t her own.
She pivoted to a new role supporting medical software — a step closer to tech — but something was still missing. She wanted freedom. Flexibility. And work that felt aligned.
So when a friend suggested she join a no-code course, she didn’t overthink it. She applied — and got in.
“The thing that impacted me the most was the people I met… It's less frightening to start something yourself when you see others doing it and that it's possible.”
Rita dove into the NoCode Institute Foundations course — learning new tools, connecting with creative minds, and rediscovering her sense of purpose.
She loved how visual no-code was.
How it brought structure to things she already intuitively understood.
How it gave her confidence to build and create — without asking for permission.
Best of all, she found a community of like-minded people.
After years in a system that rewarded prestige over passion, Rita finally saw a different way of working — and living.
Visual builders — seeing is creating
Building a real client database project
Studying nights + weekends while working full-time
Finding a like-minded, creative community
Rita is now focused on building her portfolio, refining her resume, and connecting with opportunities through LinkedIn.
Her dream?
To build a career in tech that lets her travel the world, choose collaborators, and merge her background in healthcare with her new no-code skills.
She’s not just looking for another job — she’s designing a life that fits.
In the final stage of the Cohorts, students have the opportunity to work in a real project to develop not only technical skills, but also soft skills like client management, problem-solving, prioritization, and negotiation. Always with the support of our Mentors.
Throughout the course, she collaborated with a company to develop an information database. It proved to be a straightforward task for her as she was already familiar with the necessary tools. Additionally, she assisted the company in implementing email automation. Working alongside the communication department provided her with a valuable opportunity to learn from different perspectives and engage with the company from the inside.
